Unfinished Business

Back-Blogging
I’ve mentioned ad-nauseum the number of half-to-three-quarters-completed posts that I seem to accumulate like bad habits. Some are single, one-off posts; others are parts of blog series’ that never quite ended. At this point it just seems to be the way I operate; I really wish it was different, but it is what it is and I yam what I yam. With that in mind, I’ve decided to re-institute as a matter of course, the practice of back-dating old, ‘started-but-never-finished’ blog posts, reinserting them into the timeline in their proper order whenever I get around to completing them.

It’s become an ever-increasing problem that I’ve decided to stop considering a problem. From now on it will simply be AJ being AJ. :)

As I find the time to go back and finish up one of these tardy-come-lately tales, I'll back-date them to the time when it was supposed to be published, then post a brief blog entry to let you know about it along with a permalink to take you there. That way I’ll be able to finish up stories that I feel are still worth being a part of the blog but may no longer as timely as they should have been, while still giving you a chance to find them at the top of the current timeline.

So look for the headline prefix, ‘Unfinished Business,’ (‘cuz you will see it, hopefully often over the coming months), for stories that for one reason or another I didn’t have time or the inspiration to finish and post when originally intended. It’s the best solution I can come up with to maintain flow of all my posts in the grand scheme of the life-narrative for me that is this blog.
